Steve Young is currently in his fourth year as Director of Athletics for the City School District of New Rochelle (NY). Steve has been in education as a teacher, coach and administrator for more than 30 years. He is a past president of the New York State Athletic Administrators Association (2012-13) and is currently the Association’s Chair for Leadership Training. Steve is a member of the NIAAA National Faculty and is the Co-Chair for the Leadership Training course 709, “Communications”. He was a member of the NIAAA’s Strategic Planning Committee and is a member of the Association’s Accreditation Committee. In addition to teaching leadership training courses Steve has also presented at the New York State Physical Education Conference on developing relationships. He was the recipient of the Dr. Jack Foley Award for Professional Development presented by the New York State Athletic Administrators Association in 2014.
